The Reunion Island day gecko or Latin name Phelsuma Borbonica is a medium sized species of day gecko. It is diurnal and lives in northern Réunion. They typically dwell on banana trees and feed on insects and nectar. In captivity we feed our geckos Pangea and supplement their diet with small calcium dusted crickets. We recommend larger enclosures for these day geckos if housing more than 1 individual. Territorial disputes can cause fights causing injuries.
